Nearly a quarter-century and more than 3,000 families ago, The Pinehills began in Plymouth, MA. Today, it is one of the nation’s most celebrated examples of thoughtful community planning and design. More than 100 awards, including “Community of The Year,” “Best Master-planned Community in the U.S.,” and “Best Smart Growth Community in the U.S.,” recognize The Pinehills for its quality and environmental stewardship.

Holding to the original vision—a robust sense of community, active open space, and intimate neighborhoods—The Pinehills now includes more than 3200 acres, over 2500 homes, and 930 apartment residences. 30-plus shops, restaurants, and services in the Village Green are open to the public, including the award-winning Mirbeau Inn & Spa, and The Market. As of January 1, 2022, the village center and neighborhoods of The Pinehills in the aggregate have added $1.8 billion in assessed value, and generated over $272 million in tax revenue, for Plymouth.

Two-thirds of The Pinehills’ five-square miles is preserved as natural and recreational open space, including more than 10 miles of walking trails, a 77-acre pond for kayaking and fishing, pools, tennis, and golf.
